What does #artificialintelligence and #psychoanalysis have in common? AI's predictive power, and the unconscious' subliminal power complement three things that enable workplace and individual transformation: human judgement, data, action.
The value of AI lies in its ability to reduce the load on humans with regards to mental tasks, to not only save on costs, but also enhance the quality of human judgement and decision-making. The value of psychoanalysis lies in its ability to reduce the load on the personality with regards to emotional issues, to not only enhance mental wellbeing, but also enhance the quality of human judgement and decision-making.
Both AI and psychoanalysis require large amounts of data to be transformational - AI requires business data to harness AI's predictive capabilities and psychoanalysis requires unconscious data (memories, dreams, fantasies, imagination etc) to harness the psyche's healing capabilities.

AI can perform highly complex problem-solving (such as unravelling intricate cancer diagnoses), but it can also suffer major setbacks (such as the potential for racial discrimination) (Oxford AI Programme, 2022).
In the coming months #JungianBitsofInformation will be offering two new services to organisations and individuals.
(I) An Artificial Intelligence service: to identify opportunities for AI in your organisation and the ethical considerations to address the common pitfalls of AI with a unique perspective from Analytical Psychology..
(II) and Jungian Psychoanalysis (under supervision pending completion of my training): to identify opportunities for personal development. I'm currently mid-way through my exams and pending successful completion of my exams and a psychiatric clinical placement, I'll be able to offer a psychoanalytic service (under supervision) to private clients.
After months of training as a Jungian Psychoanalyst and years of analysis (230 hours+) interrupted by the pandemic for a while, I'm finally doing my propaedeuticum exams which alongside a psychiatric clinical placement in Kampala Uganda in 2023 passed successfully, means I can open my own psychoanalysis practice under supervision for the remainder of my training. I've been sat at this desk, studying, reading, for what seems like an eternity but I'm ready for this huge milestone in my life. Get your expression of interest in now!
